RECAP 2024 - "A scoop of my best"
I wish all my readers a very happy new year & here's a scoop of the best of TPW over the year that just passed...
The year that went by ranks right up there for me in terms of achievements when it comes to both:
my current profession of mentoring product managers &
my writing - a passion that I revisited & reconnected with in the last 2 years
๐NOTE: Operating under the banner of TPW (The Product Web) I have spoken to as many as 500 product managers from across the world & the understanding, insight, eclectic experiences that I have had out of that is unparalleled, something that I have learnt a lot from & do cherish dearly.
โMy Personal Pick of 2024โ
Asking a writer to pick out one as a favorite amongst all those that they have written is perhaps similar to asking a mother to pick one of her favorite babies. But, the one article that I happened to publish in the last year & is still pretty close to my heart is, this one:
Back Story: I happen to talk to a few cofounders & business owners over my engagements at TPW (The Product Web) helping them largely with their BUSINESS GOALS & getting STRATEGY right for the first time, cutting down the TTM (Time To Market) helping them hit that zone of profitablity much sooner. Over one such engagement it occured to me how many cofounders are actually a victim of Atychiphobia. But, later on in the very same week when I interacted with a few other product managers from an entirely different geography, operating in a totally different domain I could identify & map out a few similar characteristics, which is what led to the research of the condition & the very term describing the phobia.
But, talking of the whole list of articles published, hereโs a RECAP - A Scoop of the best of 2024:
1) INFLECTION POINTS
2) STIMULATED TEST MARKETING
3) LONGITUDINAL QUALITATIVE RESEARCH
4) THE โWAR CHESTโ
5) BLEMISHING EFFECT
ADDENDUM NOTE:
Also, a big thank you all for the personal notes, the e-mails, the reactions & interactions my posts have triggered. We may be miles apart, may not have met each other in person. But somewhere, somehow my posts have managed to resonate with you & we have come closer. And Iโm eternally grateful for that.
Heart-felt wishes to all of you!
